Diagonal Mar i el Front Marítim del Poblenou
If you live here, you swim before class and go a whole week without meeting anyone your own age on your own street.
A planned seafront development of tower blocks, the Diagonal Mar shopping centre and the Llevant and Nova Mar Bella beaches. The towers themselves are calm and well built. What risk there is here is event-driven, clustered on the Fòrum esplanade and the beachfront on concert nights rather than spread through ordinary streets.
The best beach access we cover, in 2000s towers around a park and a shopping centre. It also has the lowest share of 20 to 34 year olds of all 73 Barcelona neighbourhoods.
