Carrer de Blai is a pedestrian pintxos run; behind it the neighbourhood climbs the hill into gardens. A mix of long-standing residents and a fast-growing international population. Paral·lel's theatres give it a nightlife that is not just bars.
Between Montjuïc and Paral·lel: tapas street, theatre district, mountain on the doorstep. Central and still just about affordable.
