Sarrià-Sant Gervasi
El Putxet i el Farró
If you live here, you get Gràcia ten minutes downhill for a bigger flat, once you have checked which side of the hill the street is on.
Two halves split by the Ronda del Mig. El Farró below is flat, dense and lined with cafés around Plaça Molina; el Putxet above is a hill with a park, views and tower houses. It works as an extension of Gràcia and Lesseps rather than as part of the formal zona alta, and it is younger and cheaper than its neighbours.
The cheapest whole flats in Sarrià-Sant Gervasi, with the district's densest student room supply and two metro lines. The catch is that nothing happens here in the evening.
